About the History
11th century · medieval castle with Renaissance elements
Founded in 1086 by Robert 1er, Seigneur des Riceys, who established the first foundations. The château has been part of French history for over 800 years. Currently owned and restored by Charles and Ségolène de Taisne, who installed themselves with their family in 1967, undertaking a comprehensive preservation and enhancement of this family home.
