About the History
18th century · 18th-century French country estate with 11th-century Romanesque chapel ruins
The historical site dates back to the 11th century. The 18th-century residence has been lovingly renovated over the course of 20 years by owner Marwan Badran, who moved to Gascony in 2005 to establish Chateau Engalin as a Culinary Utopian Retreat. The romantic Rose Chapel dates back to the 11th century.
