About the History
19th century
Chateau du Puits es Pratx is a historic 19th century estate located on the edge of Ginestas in the Aude region of southern France, in the Languedoc wine region of Minervois. Steeped in the history of wine making, the chateau was formerly the home of a large wine producer. The ancient wine hall has been beautifully restored as a reception room with bar for catering and dancing. The bar has been made inside the original wine press, and guests can make use of an enormous wine barrel for breakfast.
