Spiral Garden Vows at Château du Prieuré d’Evecquemont near Paris

Location: Evecquemont • Paris RegionNorth of France

In a world where trends rush by, this editorial sought to anchor their love story in something eternal. Under the gentle warmth of the late summer sun, the couple found themselves enveloped in the château’s storied heritage, where history whispered through its ivy-covered walls. As Déva prepared in a sunlit chamber, surrounded by the elegance of the French countryside, Quentin savored a quiet moment, ready to embark on this journey of a lifetime. The gardens, adorned with a spiral ceremony setup, provided an intimate, enchanting venue for their vows, making it one of the most romantic wedding venues in Île-de-France.

Getting Ready

This feature showcases a truly beautiful vision of refined romance, brought to life through the creative expertise of planner Angie Maraval.

The backdrop was the magnificent Château du Prieuré d’Évecquemont, where the ceremony utilized a memorable spiral setup. This unique, gentle arrangement of seating enveloped the couple in a deep, intimate energy. Imagine soft rows of French white garden chairs alongside arrangements of white roses, hydrangeas, and fresh greenery - the grounds were transformed into a poetic European garden.

Deva’s bridal look was a masterclass in classic glamour, effortlessly channeling the sophistication of Audrey Hepburn and the sparkle of Marilyn Monroe. Her exquisite “Violette” gown by Rouvell was paired with a stunning rose-embroidered veil that elegantly tied the fashion to the floral theme. This detail was sweetly echoed by Quentin, who wore a subtle yet meaningful rose pin on his suit lapel.

The romance continued into the sunset, culminating in a series of unforgettable reception highlights set under the open sky.

The reception’s focal point was a towering 1.6-meter vintage-inspired cake stood proudly as a stunning testament to heartfelt craftsmanship. Next to it, a shimmering champagne tower toast marked the joyous occasion.

Capturing every moment was the talented destination wedding photographer, Kate Roberge. She framed the couple’s tender interactions and celebratory energy within a beautiful, dreamlike atmosphere. Kate’s signature romantic, storybook approach preserved every emotive detail, from the couple’s private vows to the vibrant celebration that followed.
