An Intimate wedding at Château de Mairy in Champagne

For Regan and Ryan, Château de Mairy, a historic monument in Champagne perfect for intimate weddings was love at first sight even from afar. The couple selected the 17th-century estate without visiting in person, drawn by its history, hospitality, and luminous charm. The château’s pale stone, manicured lawns, and sunlit salons became the setting for an intimate celebration of fewer than forty guests, blending destination excitement with home-like comfort. With Daria Events Weddings leading the planning and Lisa B. Paris behind the lens, the day unfolded with quiet rhythm and joy. Each scene at this luxury wedding chateau in Champagne, ceremony under summer sky, dinner in the gardens embodied the grace and authenticity that define weddings in France’s Champagne region.

The design approach honored the elegant champagne wedding château’s natural beauty, using a restrained palette of white and green to complement its historic architecture. Florals appeared in loose, sculptural forms that mirrored the estate’s gardens, while toile de Jouy linens and wooden Napoleon chairs added French character without overpowering the space. Minimal stationery and digital invites reflected the couple’s contemporary sensibility and ecological mindset. The toasts featured French Bloom - a non-alcoholic Champagne alternative that kept the celebration inclusive and elegant. The result was both timeless and fresh, a perfect union of old-world setting and modern intentionality.

The experience extended beyond the wedding day, forming part of a five-day gathering filled with food, exploration, and connection. Guests enjoyed a Champagne tasting in Épernay, a casual barbecue rehearsal, and post-wedding brunches that stretched into conversation-filled afternoons. Daria Events Weddings, one of the trusted wedding planners in Northern France, coordinated every moment with ease, ensuring the couple could simply enjoy their time together. Lisa B. Paris, among the admired wedding photographers in Champagne, captured the intimacy and brightness of the celebration - proof that at Château de Mairy, simplicity and sincerity create the most lasting beauty.
