Nature-Inspired Wedding at Le Grand Banc in Provence

Henry and Olivia’s celebration unfolded at Le Grand Banc, one of the most exclusive wedding venues of Provence known for its terraced gardens, open courtyards, and far-reaching valley views. After years spent in London, their story turned toward the South of France for a destination wedding shaped by calm air and time together. This private hamlet located in the Luberon’s warm stone walls and quiet paths offered a relaxed flow for guests arriving from abroad. Gravel walkways, olive trees, and music drifting through the courtyard set the atmosphere as friends and family gathered. With spectacular views of the Luberon National Park, Le Grand Banc delivered the sense of space and ease the couple had imagined for their weekend in Provence.

Ceremony Beneath Ancient Branches and Dining Among Terraces

The ceremony took place under an old tree where filtered light and movement in the leaves framed the vows. Olivia wore an off-white gown with a subtle blush tone, her bridesmaids in white to echo the setting’s simplicity. The reception followed the estate’s natural rhythm: exposed wood tables, airy chiffon runners, and sculptural Ikebana-style florals that balanced restraint and form. As the sun dropped across the Luberon valley, guests shared stories over crisp wine and regional dishes, their laughter carried by the evening breeze. Portraits unfolded along stone steps and garden paths scented with rosemary and thyme, the landscape always in quiet conversation with the celebration.

A Celebration Guided by Expertise and Captured with Light

The day’s rhythm was defined by careful direction and a sense of ease. Josh Tully Management, among the most talented destination wedding planners in the South of France, oversaw the schedule with clarity - matching setting, movement, and sound to the moment. Music shaped the mood: To Build a Home for the entrance, You Make My Dreams Come True for the recessional, and Let’s Get Loud to start the night’s dancing beneath the open sky. The event was documented by Romain Ivanov, one of the experienced wedding photographers in Provence, whose imagery favored motion, texture, and the softness of late light. The celebration closed with quiet laughter, full glasses, and the last notes fading across the valley.

All bridesmaids and the flower girl wear dried floral or greenery crowns; the flower girl is dressed in a blue gingham outfit. The styling is bohemian with a soft, natural palette of white, blush, and ivory, and in the background wooden ceremony benches and fabric ribbon installations are partially visible. A bride stands outdoors on a gravel surface in front of a vintage light blue Citroën 2CV, posing for a full-length portrait. She wears an ivory tulle A-line gown with a deep V-neckline, voluminous sheer puff sleeves, and an extended cathedral-length train spread across the ground. Her loose, wavy blonde hair is worn down, and she holds a lush bouquet featuring blush and mauve roses, white daisy-like blooms, deep burgundy flowers, orange marigolds or amaranth, and trailing greenery. The overall styling has a relaxed boho sensibility, with the vintage car serving as a deliberate decorative prop. The image is a mid-length to full portrait shot taken in natural daylight.
This is a black-and-white outdoor bridal portrait of a single bride photographed in three-quarter frame against a softly blurred outdoor backdrop of trees. The bride's long, wavy blonde hair is caught mid-movement by the wind, sweeping across her shoulder as she looks downward with a smile. She wears a flowing wedding dress with voluminous, billowy sleeves in a lightweight fabric that also lifts in the breeze. She holds a large, loosely arranged bouquet featuring a mix of roses, dahlias, anemones, daisies, and ranunculus with eucalyptus and mixed foliage throughout; in the monochrome tones, the blooms range from deep darks to bright whites with strong contrast. The image is shot with a shallow depth of field, rendering the background fully out of focus and drawing attention to the movement of the hair and dress. The high-contrast black-and-white processing emphasizes texture in the fabric and floral details.
