Dreamy River Cruise & Regal Charm Engagement in Versaille

Between the historic beauty of  Versailles and the romantic currents of the Seine, this editorial feels like a modern fairytale set in the heart of Paris. Imagined by wedding planner Yoleine Chainon and captured by Aude Lucas, a talented destination wedding photographer in Paris, it follows a modern Asian couple celebrating their love in a way that feels cinematic, intimate, and unmistakably Parisian. Skipping the touristy clichés, their day begins in a quiet Versailles mansion perfect for intimate weddings and flows gently into a golden river cruise offering a fresh and refined take on engagement photography in the City of Light.

French Wedding Inspiration

From Gilded Interiors to Glimmering River Views

The shoot opens in the timeless charm of a Art Gallery, a peaceful hotel particulier perfect for small weddings tucked away in Versailles. Its French garden and regal interiors complete with antique furniture and gilded mirrors set the tone for a morning filled with tenderness and whispered emotions. Then, the narrative shifts from palace to river as the couple steps aboard Le Coq d’Eau, a vintage 1950s boat by Parinautes. As the Seine glows under the soft early-summer light, Paris reveals its quiet magic poetic, dreamy, and deeply romantic.

Styled With Heart: Fashion, Beauty & a Creative Vision

The bride wore a minimal yet radiant gown by Le Toii Atelier, its delicate sequin embroidery catching the morning light like stars on silk. Her luminous makeup by Crystal Bride brought out her natural beauty, while Bella Belle Shoes added a graceful finishing touch. The groom looked effortlessly chic in a custom suit by Un Jour Un Costume, perfectly blending Parisian style with quiet confidence. Every detail, from the bride’s diamond accessories to the tender gesture of gifting a necklace, told a story of intimacy and personal style.

Behind the scenes, a dream team of creatives brought this vision to life. Aude Lucas and Pierre Froger captured the day with a high-fashion eye and a feel for real emotion, blending editorial sharpness with soft, spontaneous moments. With expert styling by Yoleine Chainon, a luxury wedding planner in Paris and creative direction by Crystal Bride, the team worked in harmony to turn Hôtel de Bouillon into a setting that felt both cinematic and deeply personal. This wasn’t just a shoot - it was a celebration of  love told through style, teamwork, and the timeless beauty of Paris.
