Dreamy Wedding at Chateau de Chantilly

Location: Chantilly • Paris RegionNorth of France

Château de Chantilly, one of the most luxurious wedding chateau in Paris became the setting for Karen and Sam’s elegant celebration. Guests travelled from Hong Kong and beyond to join the couple at this historic estate, famed for its art collection and cinematic beauty. The festivities began in the French Garden of the Maison de Sylvie, where Champagne flowed and The Traveling Hands played softly under the evening sky. Michelin-starred chef Julien Lucas presented a five-course dinner, while Scarlet and their international team brought to life a celebration that felt both personal and spectacular, framed by the château’s architectural grace and manicured grounds.

Couple Portraits

A couple shares a kiss outdoors at night in front of a large fireworks display bursting in vivid magenta, pink, and white tones against a dark sky. The bride wears a tiered, ruffled ball gown in pale icy blue-grey, while the groom is dressed in a dark suit with a white dress shirt. They are standing on a gravel path in front of a metal railing, with a reflective ornamental pond or canal visible behind them; ground-level firework fountains are also firing in the background, forming a heart-like arc. The wide-angle portrait composition places the couple in the lower third of the frame, with the fireworks dominating the upper two-thirds and their reflections visible in the water below.

The ceremony took place at L’Île d’Amour, a secluded island watched over by Eros. Karen arrived by horse-drawn carriage, her Ellie Saab gown trailing softly behind her as she walked the 100-metre aisle to Sam. The floral arch above them echoed the blush and peach palette that carried throughout the day, setting the tone for a celebration steeped in refined romance. After portraits in the English Garden, guests moved toward the reception, unaware of the transformation awaiting them a glass pavilion built especially for the occasion. Designed by Scarlet, it offered panoramic views of the château and sky beyond, blending artistry and architectural vision in perfect harmony.
