The couple’s story began in the South of France, making it only natural to return to the region that held such personal meaning. Set just outside Aix-en-Provence, the romantic reception château offered everything they imagined: stately architecture, private gardens, and the golden Provençal light that defines the region. On a radiant June day, family and friends gathered beneath the cypress trees as the château became a stage for celebration, culture, and emotion a wedding that felt both refined and deeply heartfelt.

Ceremony in the Chapel and the Spirit of Provence

The day began in calm anticipation, the château’s rooms alive with laughter and final preparations. Nicky carried a bouquet of white and green blooms as she made her way to the chapel on her father’s arm, where Peter Madan officiated a moving ceremony that blended languages, faith, and family tradition. The couple’s vows were marked by music - a soulful performance by a family member, Elizabeth, whose voice filled the chapel with warmth. For Daniel, emotion was impossible to contain; joy and gratitude radiated through every moment. The ceremony closed as sunlight spilled through the open doors, a reminder of the Provence setting that had first brought them together.

Cocktails, Dinner, and a Night of Celebration

After the ceremony, guests gathered by the château’s pool for a lively cocktail hour where two cultures and two languages blended in laughter and song. The smooth bossa nova and jazzy rhythms of Lovelydays, a Parisian band, set the tone for an effortlessly chic evening. As night fell, lanterns and candles replaced daylight, washing the gardens in warm glow. The floral artistry by Wayne & Jeff combined grey, peach, white, and green tones that mirrored the Provençal countryside. Dinner featured French classics served with humor and heart as family and friends toasted the newlyweds.
