Parisian Wedding Escape at Chateau de Ferrieres

Mathieu and Mumu chose Château de Ferrières after a year of searching, setting their summer 2023 date on the groom’s birthday. Morning preparations unfolded in separate rooms, with the bride alongside her mother and bridesmaids and the groom sharing a quiet moment with Miso. Their first look on the garden stairs felt private and unhurried as soft light touched the stone. Château de Ferrières, a grand estate 30 minutes from Paris with formal gardens and ornate salons, gathered the day’s stages in one place. After portraits, the couple took a brief ride in a retro Ford around the grounds before guests settled for the ceremony.

Weather shifted plans, moving the ceremony indoors without losing atmosphere. Guests found seats beneath high ceilings while rain tapped at windows and music marked the procession. The bride’s dress read clearly against pale walls, and Miso carried the rings, drawing smiles and easing nerves. Clear sightlines kept attention on vows, then a short pause allowed family embraces and a final sweep of portraits in the corridors. The location near Paris helped timing stay intact, with suppliers and guests adjusting quickly. The layout of this exceptional wedding setting in the Ile de France region kept transitions short from aisle to group photos, then onward to aperitifs as the weather cleared.
