Airy Ivory & Blush Wedding at Château de Varennes in Burgundy

Location: Charette-Varennes, Burgundy Northern France

For Emma and Marvin, Château de Varennes, a luxury venue located in the sunny South Eastern part of France offered the perfect harmony of history, light, and atmosphere. Surrounded by vineyards and pale stone, their wedding day felt relaxed yet undeniably elegant. The luxury French wedding castle‘s lawns, alleys, and sunlit chapel created a natural rhythm for the celebration quiet anticipation giving way to laughter and movement. With Olivia of L’Atelier Atypique guiding the flow, every transition unfolded smoothly, from the first look beneath the trees to toasts at golden hour. In the soft northern light, Kelly Dujardin captured moments that felt alive with warmth and sincerity: subtle glances, easy grins, and the beauty of a French summer day.

Design Notes: Airy Whites, Blush Glow & a Modern French Mood

The design echoed the château’s architecture refined, timeless, and open to light. Ivory, cream, and soft blush formed the base, while mono-varietal clouds of hydrangea, lilies, and roses framed the chapel and dinner spaces. Le Clos Végétal’s florals added movement without excess, pairing perfectly with Emma’s sleek halter gown and sculptural calla bouquet. Dinner unfolded outdoors with white linens, ribbed glassware, and soft silver accents modern yet deeply French. The tablescapes by Joli Bazaar and Velvet Rendez-vous brought tactile elegance, while a fraisier-style cake by Mickael Iachini glowed under twilight, layered with fruit and the last shimmer of summer light.

Captured by Kelly Dujardin and Planned by L’Atelier Atypique

Every detail of Emma and Marvin’s day reflected collaboration and care. Olivia of L’Atelier Atypique, one of Northern France’s trusted wedding planners, curated the timing with a light hand so the celebration stayed easy and intuitive. Kelly Dujardin, among the talented wedding photographers in Burgundy, worked in natural light to preserve the softness of the setting stone, greenery, and sky held in perfect balance. The fashion story came together through Victoire Vermeulen, Beau Costume, and KJ Atelier, each detail grounded in quiet sophistication. The result was a wedding that felt modern yet timeless, perfectly attuned to the spirit of Château de Varennes.
