White-Themed Wedding at No.3 The Château near Bordeaux

No.3 The Château, an exclusive Weddings and Events venue just outside Bordeaux offered Jessica and Will a serene, all-in-one estate for their South of France celebration. The couple, who met at work and became engaged during a Paris birthday trip by the Eiffel Tower, chose the region for its scenery, cuisine, and easy travel connections. This boutique Napoleonic Chateau’s gravel drive, open lawns, and shaded courtyards allowed guests to move naturally between ceremony and reception. Parasol-lined paths guided arrivals toward the main façade, where champagne was poured and the first portraits began on the stone steps. Across the weekend, the estate held everything close making the experience relaxed, cohesive, and distinctly French.

Getting Ready

A getting-ready group portrait taken indoors in a bright, white-walled room with grey linen curtains, a ornate white vintage mirror on a dressing table, and a brass bed frame visible in the foreground. The bride stands on the right wearing a lace-bodice ballgown with a long tulle skirt and a cathedral-length veil, with her blonde hair styled up and a delicate hair accessory. She is joined by three bridesmaids in floor-length blush and champagne wrap-style dresses with short flutter sleeves, and two older women who appear to be mothers of the wedding party — one wearing a dusty pink midi dress with an off-shoulder lace top and a large blush fascinator hat, the other in a taupe-rose fitted dress with a rhinestone belt and a pink floral fascinator. The overall color palette is soft blush, champagne, and ivory throughout, giving the group a cohesive, classic look. The shot is a wide portrait taken at eye level with natural window light flooding in from behind the group.
A getting-ready scene set in an indoor bridal suite with a vaulted white ceiling, lit by ceiling-mounted flush lights. Five women are gathered together — the bride sits centrally on a gold-framed settee wearing a white satin short robe with black piping trim and a crystal tiara, holding a champagne flute; her hair is styled in loose blonde waves. Four bridesmaids wear matching blush pink satin robes, two seated flanking the bride and two standing behind, all with upswept or styled hair and small hair accessories. All five women are holding or have glasses of champagne and are laughing and interacting naturally. In the background, white lace wedding dresses are displayed on dress forms and hang on the walls, and a large gold-framed mirror reflects part of the room. The composition is a wide group portrait shot from a slightly low angle.

Jessica envisioned a classic white and candlelit aesthetic that reflected timeless elegance without excess. The ceremony took place in the gardens facing this show stopping wedding chateau near Bordeaux, where ribbons caught in the breeze and silk-stemmed arrangements blended with fresh blooms to hold form in the summer warmth. As vows concluded, guests drifted toward the courtyard for cocktails beneath clipped hedges and shuttered windows. Dinner followed under strings of light as dusk settled over the Bordeaux countryside. Menus highlighted local wine, echoing the region that had drawn them back after their Paris proposal. Throughout, the atmosphere remained unhurried an evening defined by subtle design and thoughtful flow.

Jessica wore a Rosa Clará gown with lace detailing and a soft skirt that caught the blue-hour glow, while Will’s Savile Row suit brought a tailored counterpoint to the château’s warm stone and greenery. A champagne tower signalled the start of toasts as laughter rose across the courtyard. Music carried guests seamlessly into the night, each transition handled with quiet precision by wedding planner Julia, one of the trusted planners in the South of France. Her structure kept timing smooth, from ceremony to final dance. The result was a celebration defined by elegance, intimacy, and the calm rhythm of Bordeaux’s countryside evenings.
